ONCOLOGY MASSAGE

Compassionate massage therapy is adapted for those dealing with active treatment and those with a history of cancer.

Oncology massage can help cancer patients deal with anxiety, depression, nausea, fatigue, pain relief, improved body image, and improved sleep.  Oncology massage is the modification of existing massage therapy techniques to work with cancer and cancer treatment complications safely.
 

For safety, specific modifications to massage are crucial for decades after treatment is complete.  Primary massage considerations include but are not limited to bone integrity, vital organ involvement, and compromised lymph nodes.
